Kitsune is the Japanese word for "fox." The Kitsune is a traditional mythical character.. a fox spirit. A kitsune lives for many years, growing wiser as it grows older, and possesses intelligence, spirituality, loyalty, and magical powers.

Combine this Japanese imagery with traditional Scandinavian stranded knitting and mitten construction for a beautiful, functional, and interesting accessory.
