Black Flame Tarot

What an absolutely spectacular deck! The origin description by Paul McAlee states "In beauty, symmetry and aesthetics, The Black Flame Tarot is perhaps rivalled only by the Thoth deck of Lady Frieda Harris." I couldn't agree more. I have used the Thoth deck for decades so the art was a huge attraction for me. Beyond it being pleasing to the eye, I got the deck for its many differences, hoping that it will help me to better absorb and reflect on the LHP concepts that are new to me. I was absolutely delighted to discover that, not only are there many symbolic differences, but some of the keys are re-titled as well! I have no doubt that this deck was created by an active seeker and will aid me greatly in my journey on the path. I look forward to exploring its depths and letting it work its magic in me!

Shipped super fast and came with a few goodies from the shop! I love the art and the style of the deck and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this shop to see what's in store for the future.

I was attracted immediately to the vivid colors used in the fantastic illustrations offset by the black background. Love it! Even more striking and beautiful when seen in real life. I am so glad to find a deck that can embrace seriousness and still be gorgeous to look at.

Jumping into tarot in hard mode and picked this deck as my first to start reading with because I was super drawn to it's imagery and colors. I was not disappointed with the quality! Good colors, nice shiny but firm card stock, all over a good product. Plus shipping was prompt (so prompt I was confused when I got the package because I wasn't expecting it for another day), and it was packed with some lovely bonus goodies!
