These beads are called tanfouk by the Tuareg. Their shape is a common fertility symbol and the Tuareg Women wear them woven in their hair and in necklaces. You get 6 pieces of these! I have so many that I don't think I will ever finish them off! hehe, so I am doing a Destash here. These measure 3/4" long x 1/3" wide. These have been in my possession about 15 years or so. The hole is front to back as pictured. I have Purple, Red, Blue and Green, some are more translucent and some transparent. You get the ones pictured.
