This listing is for the Roman Forum Socks PATTERN which is a toe-up, short row heel sock pattern using 2 different fingering weight yarns for Womens size Medium.

These are Fair-Isle knitted socks on 2 circular needles and the pattern is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate knitters. Pattern includes color charts for the instep and foot with easy to read symbols. The pattern is in digital (.pdf) form and is available for instant download.

A bit about the sample socks:
One of my favorite countries to visit is Italy and this pattern was inspired by the beautiful marble columns that support the ancient buildings in the Roman Forum. Knitted with a complementary colored yarns, these socks feature a center cable and rows of alternating stitches between the cables.

Frequently asked questions about AlohaBlu

I strive to photograph each item as color accurate as possible, however each monitor will show the images differently. Please allow for some color differences due to the inconsistencies with monitor color calibration.
Handwashing all handmade and hand-dyed products in COOL water with a mild wool soap, then laying flat to dry will aid in prolonging the life of the garment. Using hot water can break the chemical bonds in the dyed item causing the dye to bleed, so please use cool water for washing.
