One of my most un-favorite things is waking up with puffy eyes, or seeing them in the mirror after a long day...
This awesome green clay mask works great, noticably reducing under-eye fullness in just a few minutes. It is based on Chinese herbal principles that dictate moving qi and water in the body, as puffiness is considered the result of these things 'pooling'.
Green tea is cooling, astringent, and antioxidant - soothing and helpful for tired eyes.
Chen pi (orange peel) is a 'qi-mover' and has astringent qualities also.
Honey and licorice balance and harmonize the other herbs, and help moisturize, counteract any drying effects of the clay, and sooth delicate skin.
Pretty tea-flecked green clay tones and tightens as it dries.
Tap out a small amount into hand and mix with water. Pat on eye area and leave until nearly dry - less than 5 minutes. Rinse off and note lively, refreshed, happy eyes!
A great quick-fix if you like, or mix with honey or yogurt and leave on longer for a deeper, relaxing treatment.
One of my favorites, as puffy eyes are my bete-noir!

The seller gets higher marks than the product, which was thick and heavy for my taste. Tried thinning it with a lighter lotion, also w a bit of coconut oil but couldn't come up w a usable solution. Seller generously offered me a free jar of a somewhat lighter cream. Also, since there was a mail glitch that made it a little challenging to place my order, she gave me a 50% refund. Again, very generous. That never happens.

I also provide samples of most things (usually for the asking) so you can try something out before you commit. I put sincere care into all of my products and do not sell anything I have not been using on myself or my loved ones for quite some time. If you are unhappy in any way please contact me and I will do everything I can to make things work for everyone.

Additional policies

If you have questions about any ingredients please contact me and I will happily answer them. Ingredient list for any product is available upon request. I have formulated each product with ingredients generally known to be the least likely to contribute to allergies or sensitivites. If you are aware of a sensitivity to one of the ingredients, please inform me as I may be able to reformulate a product for your needs. I love doing stuff like that!

About Preservatives.
Yes, preservatives. I hate even writing the word, but: there it is. I am no happier about their necessity than anyone else, but they are in fact required in any product that contains water in order to ensure that nothing even more unhealthy gets a chance to grow. It is an FDA mandate that no pathogens be present in commercial products, and it is the job (not to mention the ethical responsibility) of the manufacturer to uphold it; proper, careful use of preservatives accomplishes this.

When possible, I design formulations to be water-free, in order to obviate this need. These are the 'dry' products you mix yourself immediately upon use, or those made without any water, and include:

Chinese Herbal Exfoliating Grains
Chinese Herbal Green Clay Eye-depuffer Mask
Face Steaming Teas
Eye Teas
Hand and Nail Balm
Bath Salts
Soaps
Perfumes
Sugar Shea Butter Body Scrub

Anything with oils in it will last longer if made with an anti-oxidant. For this I happily use a very effective natural one made from rosemary.

After a great deal of research, testing, and experimentation, the preservative on which I settled in cases where one is required is a combination of phenoxyethanol and propylyl glycol. It has the best balance of mildness, effectiveness and safety I could find, and is commonly used in natural skincare products. It is paraben-free and non-formaldehyde-forming, and has a very low rate of skin sensitivity when incorporated properly in products.
Please know that I am always on the lookout for even better alternatives. Anything new has undoubtedly been tested on animals, a bit of a problem for me, but I keep my eyes open and study industry boards regularly to ensure I am delivering the safest, purest and most balanced products possible.
With any questions, comments or concerns regarding preservatives - or any other ingredient for that matter - please feel free to convo me.
