This print is from an original painting of a horse rescued by HEART of Tucson, a equine rescue based in Tucson, Arizona (www.heartoftucson.org). HEART takes in and cares for horses at risk; the abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted. With proper nutrition, medical care, shoeing and interaction these horses are true Cinderella stories! A portion of proceeds from sales of these prints goes to HEART.

This is a print of “Natural Beauty”, a dramatically lit portrait of a palomino mustang mare named Christina. When she arrived last fall, she had an extreme distrust of humans, charging at anyone that came near her corral teeth bared. This spring, after slow, careful work she's learned that people are a good thing, and now comes up to the fence to be petted on and of course, for tasty treats!

Printed with archival, pigment based ink on acid-free paper, the image size is 11 x 14. It is shipped mounted on an 11 x 14 board in a clear plastic protective sleeve and will fit nicely in a standard 16 x 20 frame and mat. Watermark will not appear on actual print.

Also available in 8 x 10:
