Invented during my 22 years as one of the zookeepers responsible for the hummingbird collection at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ.
Easy to use, clean, and virtually unbreakable.
When filled they weigh only 8 ounces so they are perfect for RV use!

Two 1-Ounce BPA-Free Plastic Jars with UV-Protectant Lids
Size: Approximately 3" x 3" x 6" (varies due to each one being handmade)
All pieces are solid copper which is left unsealed to allow the development of a natural patina.
NOTE: My feeders hold less food than the average hummingbird feeder. Here's why:
In order to be effective at deterring bees and wasps there must be NO sugar water on the outside of the feeders where the insects can get to it. Sometimes hummingbirds are a little messy and will drip food while feeding and the easiest way to be certain that there isn't a build-up of the sweet stuff on the feeder tops is to change the food containers DAILY.
Larger containers would result in wasted sugar water.
All this being said, if there are no bee issues, most people find that 1-3 hummingbirds empty one jar of food in about 2 days (depending on the time of year, other available food sources, whether one bird is capable of defending the feeder from other birds, etc).*
*any hummingbird feeder should be changed every 2-3 days to ensure that the food is fresh and safe for the birds.

We’ve enjoyed this feeder now for several weeks with amazing results. So uniquely a plus for us and the hummers. It’s super easy to keep fresh nectar for them with the quick-to clean and quick-to-re-supply cups. Hummers like the single feeding setup with clear views of a safe perch. It also gives us a better view of them as each one makes a visit. I guess we’ll be donating the other three “traditional” feeders we used before! Thanks, Nancy, for designing this winner.
I have to admit, when I first saw this little cup feeder, I wondered how easily it would attract the hummers. Took all of an hour before they were all over it. What I think I like best is how it's designed and allows the birds to perch to feed, encouraging them to remain longer (and making them easier to photograph). Will be back for more of these, no doubt! A+ product and my new favorite Etsy purchase. Thank you!
