* Note* I've added a new needle, a 40 gauge star blade and it's pink! ( because pink is sweet and it's the perfect needle for almost everything :)
For a limited time ( untill i get some new pictures/listings ready it'll come as bonus with this set :o)
These little colour coded felting needles are designed for close-up detailed "in-hand" work. They are safer to work with & easier to take with you as they fit nicely in a match box..
Handcrafted using a tough composite/wood clay for the handle and colour coded glass beads to differentiate the sizes.
The tip/needle is the same as on the usual long needles. They are not refillable but are less prone to breakage as there are no size graduations in the metal. The felting results are smoother as the needles can't be poked in to deeply leaving the 'pock marks' on your surface that is common with the longer needles.
sizes included are

Blue; 42 gauge extra fine: for very fine fibres silk , mohair, bunny fur..alpaca, lama ..& adding and blending tiny bits of colour

Orange; 40 gauge fine; working with silk or blending silk and wool

PINK! ; 40 gauge star bade, super needle for all sorts of work, the one I'd hope to have in my pocket while stranded on a desert Island...!

Red; 38 gauge medium: acts as a heavy grade needle with silk and a medium one with wool

Green; 36 gauge course: great starter for wool, to heavy for fine fibres like silk
