Oregon Myrtle wood bowl, with natural silver colored grain, and given a herringbone band around the outside of the rim. The bowl was rough-turned while the wood was still wet, and left for several months to season and stabilize. Once stable, is was finish-turned, and very finely polished. The band of chevrons was burned by hand, and gives the bowl a bit of contrast and character. The finish is several coats of Danish oil. The bottom is recessed so the bowl sits flat.

Dimensions: 2.25" tall, and 6" in diameter. Thickness is a little over 1/4". Nicely proportioned, and feels good in the hand.

It's the perfect size to use to keep candy, pocket stuff, or just for display.
