Description

This bag has been carefully made from fabric designed by Royalty paid Australian Aboriginals. It's title is "Grandmother's Journey" designed by Marie Nupurulla (More info on the designer on the accompanying card). The material is 100% cotton and totally washable in a warm wash. I have made it in my medium size, perfect for shawls, cowls baby clothes. It actually holds 4 x100g skeins quite comfortably and measures,
34 cm at the zip
24 cm in height
21 x 12 cm at the base

The lining has been topstitched to stop it catching in the zip. There is a useful pocket inside for your hook or notes. You will find that the bag will stand up on its own as I have used firm interfacing. You can even knit or crochet standing up with the strap over your wrist and the zip almost done up.

As a knitter myself I know you probably have many works in progress. Get them out those plastic bags and show them some love by putting them into a fun fabric project bag. The bag can fit your knitting or crocheting and be ready at a moment's notice to transport your total project wherever you wish to go. This would make a perfect gift for all your favorite knitters and crafty friends.

All items are made by me in a pet free, non smoking home. Please don't hesitate to send me a conversation through Etsy if you have any questions or if you wanted it a different size. Your new bag may need a good pressing after it arrives by post as well. Thank you for looking at Deasildesigns.

FAQs

Unfortunately, it is quite expensive to track packages sent overseas from Australia. I am using Australia Post, and the tracking option is only available for express shipping which costs $28.50. I have chosen to "register" my parcels so even though they are not tracked they can tell when they are delivered.
