Some like it hot. And I'm one of them!
Capsaicin is the hot molecule from chili peppers that makes our face flush, our eyes bulge, or skin sweat. Why do we torture ourselves? Capsaicin leads to the release of endorphins, those pain-killing pleasure molecules. It also has some healthful properties: lowering inflammation, aiding digestions, and perhaps stimulating metabolism.
For spiciest among us, I've commemorated the shape of the capsaicin molecule in sterling silver. The result is a bold necklace, sure to be an attention grabber.
The pendant is about 2 inches long and is attached to a sterling silver snake chain, adjustable in length between 16 and 18 inches. It comes in a recycled gift box with a card about capsaicin.
