Description

Four fabulousy kitsch tea cosy patterns from the land where we spell cosy with a "s" and not a "z"

I have assembled here my four famous tea cosy patterns for the tea cosy enthusiast. There are enough different patterns here to change your cosy as often as you change your undies! Impress your high falutin friends when they drop in for a cuppa. Alternatively these make great charity fund raisers, fabulous gifts for kitchen teas, house warmings etc.

This collection includes four sets of patterns: Scallop Tea Cosy, Popcorn Tea Cosy and hot pads, Groovy Tea Cosies, and Corrugated Tea and Coffee cosies. Instructions are also provided in adjusting the size for larger or smaller pot sizes. These fit a 2 cup or 6 cup pot.

Scallop pattern includes instructions for how to make a Scallop Tea Cosy in 2 sizes, plus instructions for adapting this into an Angel.

Popcorn pattern includes instructions for how to make a popcorn tea cosy in two sizes and hot pad or pot holder.

Groovy cosies include instructions for how to make your tea pot a Polo Neck cosy and a Pom Pom Beanie cosy in 2 sizes.

Corrugated cosies include patterns for both tea pots and coffee plungers, in both vertical and horizontal corrugations. You can decorate with tropical flowers, frangipanis, gum nuts and leaves. Mix and match to create your own special effects. Be bright and colourful, or muted and subdued.

See individual listings for more detail.

This is a great pattern collection to use all those scraps of 8 ply, worsted weight, double knit yarns. Patterns use a size 7- 8 (4 - 5mm hook) and are provided in both Australian/British and American Instructions. Patterns will be emailed to you in a PDF format. There are no shipping costs. Remember I am real Aussie bird and may be asleep while you are awake having fun on etsy. I can only accept paypal.

These are original patterns protected by copyright and not to be reproduced, not to be resold, posted on the web or used to make items to sell for personal profit.

I have no problems in these being used for gifts, kitchen teas or charity fund raising as I think they are just perfect for that. There is nothing wrong with sharing the kitsch around!
