Frequently asked questions about CottonBirdDesigns

All items are handmade once your order is placed. Please allow up to 14 business days from date of ordering to dispatch. Don’t forget to add you shipping time on top!
Your order is shipped from the United Kingdom. Once on the way *shipping aims are;
For a UK address is 1 to 3 business days.
For an INTERNATIONAL address (eg USA, Canada) is 6 to 10 business days.

*Delivery times are not guaranteed but from experience most packages do arrive within, or just over these time frames. Customs, severe weather, and postal services delay may affect delivery time.
You can find this on your Etsy Order Receipt after purchase. To view a receipt to go to You > Purchases and reviews, and click "View Receipt" next to the order in question. In the second section down on the receipt, Shipping Details, the expected ship date is displayed at the top.
Each item is made by hand in my studio, during very busy periods I may go over this date by a few days, apologies in advance.
I can sometimes fit in a rush order, depending on volume of current work and your location for a possible shipping upgrade. There is a fee for a rush service. Please message me with your details before making a purchase.
Once an item is purchased I cannot honor requests left in the 'message to seller' box to rush making time, or upgrade shipping. Please expect your order to dispatch on the date on your invoice after purchase unless otherwise agreed via email or Etsy conversation. To view your dispatch date please see question above.
Orders are marked as 'shipped' and you will receive an email to confirm dispatch along with your tracking number.
I use a reliable tracked service for all packages. You can find your tracking number by following the link on your Etsy delivery email. If you have concerns about your package please track online and contact your local post office in the first instance, they will provide up to date information and guidance if you need to arrange re-delivery. You are also welcome to contact me for advice and I will be happy to assist.
