Materials

beeswax, comfrey, calendula, honey, olive oil

Natural wound care at it finest. This balm contains calendula, comfrey, olive oil, beeswax and raw honey.

About the ingredients:

Comfrey has been used for centuries for food and for healing. Native to Europe it derives its common name from the Greek symphis, meaning growing together of bones, and phyton, a plant, Symphytum. Its also been called knitbone and bonset. Comfrey has been studied for its use in speeding cellular growth and has been used traditionally as such.

Calendula is a known anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and analgesic, making it perfect in a wound salve. It is native to Southern Europe, Egypt, the Mediterranean, and in the region spanning the Canary Islands to Iran; and is used in Western Hebalism, Folk herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and even indigenous cultures in America.

Olive oil its self is anti inflammatory and anti bacterial.

Lore:
Eir a Norse Goddess and Valkrie, who was known for her healing skills and choosing who lives and who dies in the battle. Her name means help or mercy, perfectly fitting for a healing balm. While few of us are fighting battles with swords anyone who has experienced a paper cut has felt the need to cry out for mercy.

To use: Grab a cotton swab and spread salve on clean wound or bandage. Do not stick used swab in salve (ewwww).

WARNING: contains raw honey. Do not apply to children under the age of 2

Do not ingest or get in eyes. Do not use on infected, deep, or puncture wounds. Do not use on animal bites.
