COLLAR MEASUREMENT (Handmade rope collars can vary +/- 1" so please provide neck circumference in notes)

Using a soft tape, measure around your dog’s neck where their collar naturally sits. Pull the tape until it is snug but not tight. Two fingers should fit between the collar and the dog's neck. Compare this measurement to your dog’s or cat's current collar to verify accuracy. Record your measurement.

Determine the appropriate size of collar for your dog or cat based on the size chart above. For example, if your dog’s neck measurement was 15" (with two fingers underneath) you would order a size large collar based on the length of 14"-16". Be sure to check the size chart for the appropriate collar as some collars run smaller than others.

Hand-dyed and stitched using the highest quality materials available, the Original Cotton Rope Dog Collar features a genuine leather adjustable strap and solid brass hardware.


COLLAR CARE:

Our collars are made with 100% cotton rope and can be hand washed with mild soap and water and line dried. Brass hardware can be cleaned and shined with mild soap and water or a combination of lemon juice and baking soda. Leather can be spot cleaned with mild soap and softened with olive oil.


NOTE:
Handmade products are all unique may vary slightly in terms of color from what is shown. Lighter cotton collars and leashes will pick up dust and dirt but can be cleaned following the collar care instructions.

The dyeing technique will produce a wonderful looking color but will slightly fade over time giving it a unique look. That is the nature of this type of product.
