Each flower medallion is stitched separately, and joined to the previous medallion to form a bracelet or choker. Six flowers make a bracelet to fit a 6-6.5" wrist.

Use the same colour for each flower, or wear a rainbow of flowers on your wrist. I have matched the size 11 seeds to the faceted drops, but one of my students used a contrasting colour, which was lovely too.

The instructions also show how to use a single flower as an earring.

To make this bracelet, you will need:

36 6x8mm Czech faceted drop beads with longitudinal holes
Tiny amounts of size 8 seed beads in two colours
Size 11 seed beads
11mm Czech flower button/bead with a single centre hole
Your favourite needle and thread

The only places where tension is important (it needs to be tight) are where size 8 seed beads are used: the centres of the flowers and where one flower joins another. I used a Nymo B, well waxed and doubled to help me maintain the tension, and I had a somewhat inexperienced student using Fireline who had difficulty maintaining the required tension, so please bear that in mind when choosing your thread.

These drop beads are on the smaller side; I did use the larger drops in the greenish-blueish bracelet (and had to adjust the seed bead counts accordingly), but I would not recommend them, as the flowers will not lie flat, buckling slightly.

This is a fun, relatively fast project, and while you don't need to know every bead-weaving stitch under the sun (or any of them, really!) you do need to be sufficiently comfortable with seed beads and have good thread tension control.

I will email you the PDF within twenty-four hours of confirmed payment of your order.
