Description

Balabusta is derived from the Hebrew term bá'alat habáyit, meaning "mistress of the house". Balabusta is a Yiddish expression describing an excellent homemaker, a women of valor. She is both the physical and spiritual glue of the family and is much to be praised. In modern times the term is also used in the work place (used with the upmost respect) as the "Boss Lady."

Part of our unique wood sign collection of Hebrew and Yiddish words on a variety of artistic backgrounds. Each wood sign is sold separately. This sign measures 4" High x 14 " Wide which is small enough to fit in any nook of your home, office, dorm room or to be used as part of a larger gallery wall display.

Background in blues and yellows on distressed wood.
Lettering painted in dark gray with the border highlighted with gold colored metallic wax.
Hangs on a saw-tooth hanger attached by screws. ( Easy to remove if you choose to hang using command strips instead. Command strips not included.)
