~Why use 'My Organic Breast Pads'?

~Comfort...Layers of soft flannel, organic bamboo and cotton, cotton fabric, and PUL.

~Safe...Bamboo is one of the few fibers that are naturally antibacterial. No sprays or chemicals are used, therefore reducing the chances of allergies and skin conditions. Inherent thermal characteristics offer great breathe ability; wicking moisture away from the body.

~Economical and Earth Friendly...No need to throw away expensive, disposable pads anymore. Just toss your pads in the wash and use over and over again. Double up your pads at night or until your nursing routine is well established for extra protection.

~Fashionable...'My Organic Breast Pads' have a pretty scalloped edge because if we are going to leak, we might as well look cute!
This listing is for six mystery sets (12 pads all together). If you have a certain set/s that you simply MUST have, just let me know and I will try to include that set with your order. Design's vary from listing pictures. These set's are wholesale lots, they will NOT come packaged individually.
Care instructions will be provided in your order. Flannel backing may vary. Placement of fabric patterns will vary. Some normal fraying may occur after washing.
*Here are some helpful suggestions for first time breast feeders that may have sore, dry, or cracked nipples. I am not a doctor or lactation specialist, this is just my two cents, but I personally tried and tested each of these suggestions and they brought relief with all three of my nursing babies.

1. First and foremost, make certain that your baby is latched on correctly. Aim the nipple to the roof of babies mouth and make sure baby opens wide. NO piranha latching!

2. Apply warm, wet tea bags to sore nipples for a few minutes a couple of times each day. The tea bags MUST contain tannic acid, this helps 'toughen' the nipples but is also very soothing.

3. Green cabbage leaves. Clean the leaves with cold water and then crush the leaves with a rolling pin to accommodate the shape of your breast. Wrap the cabbage leaves around your breast and leave on for about 20 minutes twice daily.

4. Since I did not know about tea bags or cabbage leaves when I had my first baby, I took the advise of my older sister and invested in a good breast pump and I was sure glad that I did. Again, I am not an expert but this is what worked for me. Best breastfeeding wishes!
