These simple to wear earrings are hand shaped from 18 gauge genuine copper wire dangling from 20 gauge genuine copper wire (also hand shaped). The hoops are hand hammered then tumbled for extra shine and strength. The hoops measure 1.5" wide by 2.25" long with an overall length of 2.75" from the top of the French wire to the bottom curve. Keep in mind that because each piece is custom made by hand, slight variations in size will occur.

These are also available in silver in my shop.

All of my jewelry is handmade by me in my studio in Montana.

Since this is genuine, non coated copper, it will acquire a patina over time. Although some people appreciate the more rustic look of aged copper, others prefer their copper jewelry to remain shiny. The best way to clean and restore copper to its original shine is to submerge the earrings in about 1/2 cup of lemon juice to which has been added about a Tablespoon of coarse sea salt (it's not an exact formula). Let it soak for a minute or two, rinse and dry thoroughly. I save the lemon juice in a glass bowl in the fridge until I need it again. It will keep for a couple of months, or until it is really cloudy.
