I'm not sure there's any sadder menu item than "baby octopus." Maybe "sauteed baby octopus." I'm not even a vegetarian, but I really dislike the idea of eating baby octopi, so this is my crochet tribute to all the little baby octopi who have gone before us.

It's handheld size and made with powder blue organic cotton (Lion Brand Nature's Choice). Very soft! He's stuffed with fiberfill and has two black bead eyes and an embroidered smile (unless you want to eat him! Then I will have to make it a frown!)

If you are buying this for a small child, I can make the eyes from yarn (French knots) and it will be baby-safe.
