By Matthew Burnside

MEDITATIONS OF THE NAMELESS INFINITE is a mishmash of poetic experiments on grief, split into three sections representing three kinds of grief:

[Ritual Hauntings]: ghostly valences, or the stubborn persistence of the lost: "there is no leaving a crime scene”

Horoscapes][: astrology for what remains after: "AQUARIUS / the kind of girl who makes furious snow angels only to lop their wings off with a stick"

[Escapologies]: the double-bladed nature of escapism and residual trauma: "...stabbing the sick shadows around your bloodshot eyes which by that point were no more than worn down rusty nubs of bayonets, dulled by inaction."

My bookmark arrived Very quickly! I love it. I'll be using it straightaway, I'm always losing track of bookmarks and using receipts or old envelopes :) Thanks very much.
