Years ago while camping with our family our then 3 yr old grandson wanted so badly to help us build the campfire. It just seemed so scary and dangerous that we couldn't let him help. I decided then that I would make him his own campfire that was safe and fun and also a teaching tool.
We have enjoyed so many campfires together safely in our home under imaginary stars or outside under real twinkling stars. This little campfire has forced us to put down the game controllers and iPods and simply enjoy time together. Oh my goodness I wish now I had tape recorded the stories they would tell us. The campfire tales they could spin made us all think we could really smell those marshmallows roasting and see those spooky eyes from the critters in their imaginary wilderness!!

My original design handmade felt campfire set comes with:
two birch,one chopped log and one brown log with stem and leaf approx 9".
It also includes a ring of rocks approx 18" in width.The center flame is approx 14" in height and has a weighted bottom.
The entire set has the look of a real cozy campfire.
Adding to complete the outdoor experience are 2 roasting sticks approx 12" long wooden dowel rods (which are left NATURAL), and come with removable roasted marshmallows.
