I have been ordering shampoo and conditioner bars now for probably the last 6 months and they always arrive quick, in beautiful bags and with helpful tips and instructions. I have been following the recommendation to use a lemon rinse every so often and my curly hair has never been more defined and healthy with less frizz. These products are easy to travel with (I fly fairly often) and last pretty long for the price (my hair is down to my waist). I recommend them to everyone, thank you for your consistently beautiful quality bars!

Yes we offer wholesale on our shampoo bars and conditioner bars, soaps, salves, and bath teas. contact us to set up an order.

Custom orders are welcome, let us know what you need.
We can make Party Favors, Gift Baskets and Wedding Favors.
Our products make great gifts for Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and any other Special Occasion.
Custom orders may require 6-8 weeks from the time you order until delivery depending on the amount ordered. Contact me to set up an order.

Keep you shampoo bar and conditioner bars in a location where they will dry in between uses. This will help your bar last longer. Each bar last 30-60+ days depending on use and storage.

Each bar is hand cut. I use two different molds, one is round one square. The bars will vary in shape and size. Shampoo bars range between 4-6 oz and conditioner bars between 3-5 oz.

*All of our packages are shipped in poly bubble mailers. These are our preferred mailer to protect the integrity of our products.
If you choose to request no plastic, we are not responsible for the condition your package and product may arrive in.

We offer free shipping on all first class orders. However, The conditioners are sent priority mail. Your shampoo will be upgraded to priority and combined into on package

Using a apple cider vinegar rinse will help get rid of extra build-up and oils on the hair and scalp. We recommend doing the hair rinse before you start using our hair products then once every 2 week if needed.
You will want to shampoo as normal and then apply the apple cider vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse Recipe
1/4 cup to 1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 cups water

If your hair is dry, use less apple cider vinegar.
If your hair is more on the oily side, use more apple cider vinegar.

High Porosity hair and Normal Porosity hair benefits from the ACV rinse.

Lemon Rinse
Low porosity hair- Shampoo once. Use 0ne cup of a Lemon rinse ( 1 cup Lemon Juice) put on a shower cap for 5 to 10 min. Then used the conditioner bar.

The Chocolate Chicken uses Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter in our soaps, shampoos, conditioners and salves. Theses oils are derived from nuts. If you are allergic to nuts, you may want to completely avoid using.

The Chocolate Chicken is not responsible for any individual reaction to any particular ingredient. Each product description on our website includes a complete list of ingredients. People with sensitivities to any listed ingredient should not use the product. In case you are in doubt or have sensitive skin, always try an allergy patch test and if at any time irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product.

Due to the nature of our all natural products, we cannot assure the purity of merchandise once it has been shipped. For safety and hygiene reasons this merchandise cannot be restocked or resold so we do not accept returns.
