The name of this piece is a bit misleading so, I will note this for those who want to understand the type of fossil this is. Turritella Agate was incorrectly named because the person who initially discovered this material thought it resembled the spiral-shaped gastropod (snail), turritella. It is actually fossils from the freshwater snail, Elimia tenera, which belongs to the Pleuroceridae family. So, with that science behind us...
The pendant is wired in copper with 2 clear crystals and dyed, faceted jade beads along the outer rim. It measures approximately 1 1/2" long x 1 1/8" wide. The necklace is braided natural cord from bamboo fibers. This cord is very soft, not scratchy and has a copper hook clasp. the necklace measures approximately 18 1/2" with clasp.
