Each piece of pottery from Wild Child Clayworks is handmade one piece at a time. While our glazes are predictable and for the most part, consistent, there will be natural variations in color and size. We believe that you will appreciate the innate beauty of our tableware.

PLEASE NOTE, we photograph our work in controlled lighting and color editing for the best representation of each piece. However, we cannot be responsible for the image you may see across the many device platforms and device screen resolutions.

Prior to purchase, we will endeavor to provide you with as much information regarding shape, size & color. Please feel free to "convo" us with any questions to make sure that our work is well suited for you.

You may contact us to return an item within 48 hours of receiving the item for store credit, if you are not satisfied with the item. You are responsible for shipping costs both ways for an exchange.

We do not refund shipping charges.

Custom special orders are non-refundable unless we, the artists, are not able to complete the order.

Shipping policies

****For multiple item shipping **PLEASE CONVO US** for less expensive shipping options.****
We check messages frequently and will answer you as soon as possible. We ship USPS Priority Flat Rate whenever possible. However, all pottery is carefully padded and double-boxed and doesn’t always fit the Flat Rate boxes. If you are ordering, multiple items or your order combines both fiber and pottery, the automated shipping calculator may NOT offer an accurate shipping price. Shipping on most pottery needs to be calculated by weight and distance. We are also happy to offer Parcel Post on domestic orders if you are not in a hurry for your items. Again, PLEASE CONVO US for a more accurate shipping cost. Thank you!

We are also happy to arrange local pick up and delivery. Please email us before your purchase and we will send you a coupon code for free shipping.

DAMAGE:
We take great care in packaging your artwork for shipping. It is very carefully padded and double-boxed complying with USPS regulations. Wild Child Clayworks has a very low damage rate. As well, we purchase insurance for your order through USPS and all postal claim procedures can be initiated online by the buyer or gift recipient. It is possible to submit a claim online as long as there are detailed photos of the damaged piece and the damaged box and packing materials. Please let us know within 48 hours of receipt of shipment and we can advise you through the damage claim process.

Please follow this link if you have damaged items

If you need copies of your original purchase receipt, please contact us within three days of receipt of your order. OR
Please contact us if you would like to provide photos to us so that we may submit the insurance claim for you.

International: You are responsible for all duty, customs, or any other charges imposed by your country above and beyond the USPS (United States Postal Service) postal charges that you already paid. These may be due when you pick up your package.

Important please note.
Due to our remote mountain locale, we ship as weather permits.

We are happy to consider custom orders of our clay work, Waldorf inspired natural fiber for children & boutique bags. All of our handmade creations are very special to us.

They are protected under the Common Copyright Law of Protection, Circular 14, Copyright Registration for Derivative Works. We do not give permission for duplication of any of our work as outlined by the US Copyright Office.

Please feel free to "Convo" us at any time.

Our firing schedule does not typically allow much room for custom order. Although, we are always willing to consider any ideas for new items.
When using your stoneware pottery we suggest placing it into a cold oven & then pre-heating. Also, please remember never to put a piece of our tableware from a refrigerator into a hot oven or into a microwave. Cold to hot equals cracking folks. All of our pottery is non-toxic, food safe, dishwasher & microwave safe. Hand washing is recommended for larger serving pieces.
We ship USPS Priority Mail & on larger pieces purchase additional insurance at no cost to the customer. Priority Mail is usually 2-3 days but not guaranteed. However, we find it to be extremely reliable. If damage does occur then please refer to our Shipping & Policies tab under each item in our shop.
