Item details

Vintage from the 1920s

Material

Gold

Here is a lovely solid 18k white gold art deco filigree ring featuring a simulated ruby in a European cut. The stone is a 6.5mm stone with minimal facet junction abrasion for its age.

This setting would look amazing with a 1ct diamond replaced in the center as well.

The band has appears to be hand carved for its detail with very little wearing. It's a size 6 US, but if you need a different size, your personal jeweler should be able to do this without problem.

The ring weighs in at 2.5 grams

Returns & exchanges

While all sales are to be considered final, if you should have a problem with your piece, please let me know and I will work with you to fix it.

Shipping policies

All items will be shipped via USPS with confirmation of delivery and insurance to the US. To keep rates reasonable, international orders will just have tracking. Ordered items will be sent out within 2 business days unless otherwise stated.

DISCLAIMER: We are not responsible after items reach the post office. We also can not be held responsible once packages leave the US, should items go missing or there be issues with customs. To date I've never had a problem with customers not receiving goods. Shipping times are much longer though.

Your item will be thoughtfully packaged to avoid any potential damage during delivery.

1/31/16: Regrettably after nearly 7 years here on Etsy, I've had to raise my shipping and handling charges. International orders will see the biggest hit. I LOVE my international buyers too so this breaks my heart. I'm not looking to profit off my handling fees but will refund some if there is an excessive difference.

Payments

Secure options
Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
We accept most major credit cards through Etsy's direct checkout or Paypal. Paypal will allow you to pay by e-check too, however these transactions tend to take about 10 business days to clear and, as a result, will delay the shipping your package until that time.

Additional policies

PRICING: "Hello, my name is Melissa and I'm a gem and jewelry addict." Whew...there, it's out! Most of my pieces here are from my personal collections. Therefore I don't always get crazy good deals where I jack the prices way up. My shop is a hobby business more than anything; I use to help support my family. I'm not able to do deep discounts as some shops here are. I also pay hefty taxes on business here, so my profit on Etsy is not great after taxes, listing and selling fees, credit card fees, and of course my item cost. I'm here because I LOVE to share and hopefully I can make a few dollars doing it too in order to compensate for my time.

RESERVED LISTINGS: I know what it's like to fall in love with a one of a kind piece and payday is just days away. I will reserve a listing for serious buyers only for a few days. Please understand, it hurts shop owners to miss out on sales opportunities when someone asks for a reserve then purposely flakes out. Don't be that person. Unfortunately, I've had too many do this to me so I'm hesitant to continue for more than a few days any more.

LAYAWAY: Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of working like a bank so my layaway terms are not as liberal as some. I've had too many abuse this and don't want to work like a collection agency. It's not my style. If there is an item over $300 I will take half up front and require payment of the other half within 30 days. No coupon codes will be accepted on any layaways and a 10% restocking fee will be held for those who don't honor payment completion (the balance will be refunded). For purchases over $500 I may divide into 3rds. I will not do terms past 60 days (a third payment up front, a third payment every 30 days apart thereafter). My shop is more of a hobby than a traditional business. I really appreciate your understanding :).
