This heirloom model is of the 119 locomotive and tender. It is one of two locomotives featured at Promontory Point Utah. The meeting point of the first transcontinental railroad. The other locomotive ( the Jupiter ) is my next project. How can you make a salt shaker without a pepper shaker?

The model is 49" long from the tip of the cow catcher to the end of the tender and has 60" of track 8" wide. The wheels turn and move the drive rod in the steam piston cylinder. There is also a latched boiler door in the cab. If you love trains, this is and always will be a OOAK piece of art.
