Description

Natural Peanut wood jasper actually has nothing to do with peanuts. It is a form of petrified wood found in Western Australia. During the Cretaceous Period (the time when T-Rex wondered the earth) wood sank to the bottom of the seas. The ancient equivalent of shipworms bored into the submerged wood. As the wood was petrified, the sands made from the bodies of microscopic animals known as Radiolarians filled the worm holes and became agatized. The result is a beautiful and unique stone.
The cabochon for this ring was cut was done by Desert Nights Studio's Artist, Bryan Ortloff as was the construction of the ring. This elegant ring is a beautiful edition to your collection. Because we use natural stones, no two rings are alike.

Returns and exchange details

There are no refunds after an item has been shipped. I want the purchase of a piece of art jewelry to be a pleasurable experience. I try and take pictures that fully describe the piece - close up, front and back. I make every attempt to describe the piece when presenting it. If you feel that the item is not as shown or described, please contact me within 5 business days. I will make every attempt to exchange your item (for one of the same value) There no exchanges after five (5) business days. The piece must be packaged the same way that it was received, in good condition AND insured for your protection. Shipping fees will not be refunded and return shipping is the responsibility of the the buyer. If a suitable piece cannot be agreed up, we will work with you to refund your purchase. (Minus, shipping and transaction fees. ) We will make every effort to accommodate you. These are heirloom pieces that if cared for should last several lifetimes. We want you to be happy. Please contact us if you are not and give us the opportunity to resolve any issues before leaving feedback.

Your jewelry is shipped in a gift box or jewelry bag (depending on the piece. ) Each piece is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap before packaging for shipment.

You are purchasing a piece of fine art jewelry.

Domestic: We do our best to provide you with options for shipping at the most economical yet safe manner. You can select which option you prefer. After weighing the piece with the packaging, if shipping in a flat rate box is the most economical, that will be the preferred method of shipping. We are not responsible for items once they are in the hands of the shipping company or US Postal service.

International: We do ship internationally. Depending on the contry these costs can be high. We try to find you the best shipping options at the most economical and secure. The US requires customs decloration slips that are printed on the label. Make sure you take this into account when the item is shipped. The US postal service has recently more than doubled the international postage rates. So that is the reason for such high shipping cost. Insurance and delivery confirmation is not available. I cannot be responsible for packages lost in the mail.

Shipment takes place between 1-5 business days after payment has been received. We are located in the desert of Arizona. Lake Havasu City is off the main routes of mail deliever and orders are shipped out as quickly as the post office can get them out. Orders can be expedited for an additional charge. Please convo us if you require a piece immediately. Occasionally my husband and I travel to art shows and photo locations for my photographs. (the shop will go off line if we are not available) In that case the orders will be shipped as quickly as possible on our return.

Once an item has shipped, it is in the hands of the post office. The seller is not responsible for lost packages. All sales are final. You are free to pursue the issue with the post office based on your tracking number. I keep all postal receipts and will be happy to send you the receipt. I have yet to have any piece lost in the mail but there is always that chance. Tracking numbers are provided to allow the buyer to know when a package is due to arrive. Seller is not responsible for stolen packages. I do not mark packages as coming from the studio unless required by a customs slip.. Sales outside the USA are subject to rules and regulations of the receiving country.

Additional policies

There are no refunds offered on custom pieces. These are one of a kind pieces. If you see something that you like on my shop, please contact me. While each piece is unique in regards to stone and design, similar pieces, with their own uniques characteristics can be created. They will be SIMILAR, not an exact match. I deal with unique and often expensive stones. My pieces are labor and time intense. You may see something on another site that maybe either more expensive nor less. Remember that prices are based on price of the stone, silver and intricacy of design.
