Customer testimonial:

This is an awesome piece of work! I have done A LOT of research on altering metals in the past few months and I have yet to come across a method EXACTLY like yours, not to mention, extremely well written, full of information and endless possibilities! I have paid more for a tutorial that literally shows you how to make ONE bead! No variations, no real information...You my friend... are a Rock Star!

Thanks for all your hard work Payton! You have saved me a lot of frustration and wasted materials!!!"

d e s c r i p t i o n : This PDF, digital format tutorial rocks the block by showing you how to do basic copper etching with every day household items you can find at the hardware or other local store. It's a greener way to etch and much easier on your budget too than other more expensive methods.

Then by giving you the basic skills for etching copper I show you how to take it to a whole different level by giving you the skills to work copper into a frenzy of color and beauty with LOS patina and the flame! I also show you my technique for what I call "reverse" or "negative image" patina and heat-treating.

There is a huge focus on how to heat treat copper using my methods to get a huge array of color as well as playing with different ways to get a myriad of effects using liver of sulpher, and other goodies. I have included a 9 page tutorial in full color with loads of beautiful pictures on all of these topics as well as included a nice flame-working video to boot.

I basically give away my trade secrets in working with copper..

See the pictures in the listing to understand what's offered in this tutorial. If you already know how to etch copper, this will further enhance your skills as a metal-smith by showing you how to incorporate these techniques in a totally different way.

This will work on copper clay too! Copper clay seems to work a bit better when it comes to heat treating and doing LOS treatments! Imagine the endless possibilities?

s h i p p i n g: Not offered. You will receive a confirmation email from me after you've purchased your tutorial within 24 hours (unless it's the weekend and it might be longer) and at that time I will send you the digital, PDF format and video to your tutorial.
