If you are looking for a special gift, choose hand-coloured prints over chromolithographs. While admiring the print, keep in mind that all the coloured lines and filled-in colour were painstakingly done by hand.

A beautifully hand-coloured print showing the palace of the British resident at Hyderabad.

The full print is shown in the last photo. Other photos show details from the print.

The colours are vibrant. Paper has nice patina. Published by Bostwick and Barnard, Toronto, in 1857.

The print bears some traces of the text of the page opposite this plate. There is a small tear along the bottom margin, outside the image area. Otherwise, the print is in good condition. Blank on the reverse.
