Description

An original design of Indigenous fabric bag. A bucket style bag which opens up for you to view your project inside.
This fabric has its royalties paid to it's Aboriginal Artists and is Titled "Bindoon" which means place where the yams grow. The accompanying card tells more of the history. It has stainless steel eyelets which I installed using an old fastening machine. A piece of braid runs through and is secured with a wooden bead. The bead really works well, it locks the bag closed or open.
The bottom section has been reinforced with firm interfacing. The bag will stand up by itself.

It holds 8 x 50g balls of wool.
The bag measures
28cm in height.
22cm diameter at the base and top.

This dilly bag has been fully lined with a complementary fabric complete with three pockets to pop In your crochet hook or your notes.
The fabric is 100% cotton it is washable on a warm wash and after pressing it it looks as good as new.

I am pleased with this design because I feel it offers crafters a medium sized bag which they can carry in their hands or over their shoulder with the sturdy braid.
At the same time it would look just as good being carried around a market or the street.

If you have any suggestions about fabric type, size or the design please don't hesitate to send me a special order.
Thankyou for looking at Deasildesigns.

FAQs

Unfortunately, it is quite expensive to track packages sent overseas from Australia. I am using Australia Post, and the tracking option is only available for express shipping which costs $28.50. I have chosen to "register" my parcels so even though they are not tracked they can tell when they are delivered.
