Crowbot is cast in solid oxidized silicon bronze. He is a life sized American crow skull that is 3 and a half inches long. He features a calibrated monocule eye piece that takes your choice of antique typewriter keys or your choice of eyes. His helmet has a 5mm calibrated bezel with a deep red garnet set.

Crowbot is an original carving cast in bronze or in silver only. There will be no white metal version of this piece. This unique fantasy art piece comes on a thick bronze chain length of your choosing with a toggle or clasp.

I included a shot of my American crow skull necklace for scale.

Part of the story:

" Look Zolik I know you have little reason to trust me. I won't tell you that I am on your side but I will say your interests further mine. " Zolik stared at the stranger who was clearing away the little glasses from their recent toast. The young attendant who had summoned him to the Lord's tent came to clear them away and gave Zolik a trust breath. He could feel it in his chest and with his skills still as raw as he knew them himself to be, he knew could trust this odd ancient.
Zolik breathed out and said "Alright Tyne, continue." Tyne folded his hands on his crossed legs. " You have lost something important and you need to get it back."
Zolik cocked his head in surprise. " Now how..." Tyne waved is hand. " A bird told me. More to the point . The magpies have it. "
" Oh great." Zolik said slumping dejectedly. The magpies were a weird secretive bird cult of the high West. They were not quite raiders but more opportunists and had an attraction to any object that had a glint of magic to it. Once they had something they seldom parted with it without a heavy tribute or something of a greater trade. Zolik had neither.
" How am I going to even find them ? They are on the move constantly. When I do what do I have that they want ? " Zolik was casting his gaze at the floor as he spoke.
Tyne looked Zolik and the eyes and after a time he said. " What happened during you and your companion's escape from that zealot facility has sent a wave through all the free communities my friend. Now, I am a man of science and not given to flights of spiritual fancy but what your friend unleashed on those people holding you defies explanation.
The magpies are a superstitious lot. They see themselves as a sort of vanguard against the coming of what they see as the zealot imperial designs to wipe out all free people."
" Well that doesn't seem so superstitious if you have been strapped to an exam table Tyne." He said coldly.
" Yes of course, forgive me I didn't mean to suggest they are anything but an awful force in the world. The magpies are actually anxious to meet you both."
Zolik blinked. " What ?" " Oh yes " Tyne said. " If you will permit me I would like to introduce you to someone. " He signaled his attendant and a moment later there was the smooth sound of hydraulics and metal moving.
A mechanical hand swept the curtain aside and a creature stepped into the opulent tent. He had a humanoid body shape under a patchwork fabric cloak. His head and it was somehow clearly a he was that of a large crow. The creature had one eye that scanned the room in jerky movements until it settled on Zolik. The creature let out a not at all mechanical " CAW" and turned his head sideways to nod to Tyne.
" Zolik may I present the official diplomat of the magpie people, This is Crowbot."
