Description

Bud vase - Handmade - White Stoneware clay
This small vase was wheel thrown from a white stoneware clay body. After being bisque fired, blue glazes were applied around the piece with a brush in a circular pattern. The glazes fired to attractive tones of blue-grey, or Cape Cod blue, to paler shades of soft cloudy blue, and bright blue at the rim. The inside was glazed off white.

The vase was high fired to Cone 11 and is fully waterproof. Its size offers a unique décor option for small spaces - atop a small shelf, a sill, or side table, or that spot in your kitchen that would brighten up with a bright bloom. It doesn't have to hold flowers - it's a great focal point item on its own.

This small piece can make a unique & heart-felt 'thank you' or 'get well' gift.

Orders can be cancelled online, up to 24 hours after purchase. I try to ship orders as soon as possible, often in 1-2 business days.
In the case a buyer is not satisfied with their purchase, the item can be returned, in its original condition, for a full refund of the cost of the piece. The buyer will need to cover the shipping cost to return the item.
For purchases within the state of California, sales tax will be applied.

Returns & exchanges

Any returns must be returned within one week of delivery. Items must not be damaged. The refund will be paid within one week after the item is received. The buyer will need to cover the cost of shipping returned items.

A refund or exchange will be given if an item is damaged during shipping to you. In the rare case of this occurring, I will need photos from you to file a report with the shipping provider to collect the refund. They will inspect the package - so please return the item in the original box or send a picture of the broken piece, along with packaging materials, so that I can make a claim. (I have not had anything break in over 10 years.)

Custom orders are non-refundable unless broken during shipping, in which case insurance will cover it or the item will be replaced by me.

Shipping policies

SHIPPING SCHEDULE: Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days following your purchase. I usually ship in 1-2 days. I will send you the tracking number the day your item ships out.

HOW ORDERS ARE SHIPPED: Items are shipped via USPS Priority 2-day mail or FedEx Ground. As of January 2016, USPS Priority raised shipping costs for over 2 lbs by 24%! Thus I will ship more items via FedEx Ground to make it more affordable. (You can request otherwise if there is a time issue.)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: If you would like an order shipped outside the U.S., this is possible - please send me a convo. I will send you a shipping estimate after you provide a destination address. The cost is lower for shipments up to 4 lbs, above which cost increases substantially.

GIFTS AND DEADLINES: If you have a deadline, please let me know when you purchase the item.
If your purchase is a gift: I'm happy to include a handwritten Gift Note, and not include pricing information.

Additional policies

Custom orders require a 50% deposit and will take 4–8 weeks to complete; this depends on my kiln firing schedule. I will keep you updated on the progress of your custom order.

I do not have wholesale prices; there is only one price for each piece listed.

Please remember that handmade ceramics often have minor variations, adding to their uniqueness and handmade quality.
