NOTE: Kit doesn't include plate holder shown in the picture. You need to have Tesla supplied Plate holder with screws that came with your car (generally found in frunk/trunk on delivery). If you don't have one, reach out to your nearest Service Center.
Kit contains stainless steel fasteners (non-rust/non-corrosive automotive grade stainless steel, PATENT-PENDING) to install front license plate holder in Model 3.
This solution spreads the tension induced by fastener across many louvers and hence won't break them. Other solutions uses fasteners (hooks has been PROVEN to snap the plastic louvers as described by article in Tesla Motor forum) that would damage the louvers over time. Please see the pictures posted by imitators customers.
Doesn't affect car performance in any way. Sturdy and won't move around at highway speeds or automatic car washers.

Fasteners are protected by high quality silicone rubber and won't scratch or damage vehicle. Plate holder from Tesla is smooth plastic with built-in tape backing and hence will not damage the paint. Foam tape is included with the kit for those concerned and without paint protection film or ceramic coating on the bumper.
Lasts longer than the factory adhesive mount especially in low humidity areas.
No holes to drill on the car and original factory condition is preserved.

I needed a way to not stick the license plate to the car and was happy I found this alternative kit! Super simple modifications to the plastic holder originally provided. It’s sticking so far... fingered crossed it works out!

It was definitely better than spending $120+ to install my front plates. Although I almost returned it because it looked too hard for me, I’m glad I didn’t. It wasn’t super simple but worth the time and effort. Instructions were simple to follow. Thanks for the fast answer when I asked about the screw. Also, thanks for checking with me asking if I needed additional help installing.

VERY EASY to install. It took me ten minutes to install on my Model 3. The directions are written without ambiguity, and its very easy to follow the steps in the process. Provides a secure mount for your front plate without scratching or harming the finish. Highly recommend!

I wasn't sure what to expect because the price was so low, but it is perfect! The install overall is easy and quick. I helped my husband by holding the screw from moving while he actually screwed it in place. It would still be manageable with one person, but definitely more helpful with two! Looks great on my Model Y!
