This is a beautiful example of the 19th century printing and engraving arts. This human anatomy print of the Organs of Sense illustrates the nose, eyes, eyelids, eyeball, labyrinth and the nerves of the eyeball. This beautiful plate was salvaged from an 1897 reference source and is a superbly detailed steel engraving.

The plate measures 8 x 10 1/2 inches and is blank on the reverse side. The plate is in wonderful condition, with crisp edges and corners and a soft and light even tanning to the paper which has a soft satiny finish.

Shipped to you in an unbendable mailer via first class mail. The sandmarg watermark does not appear on the original paper.
