It's absolutely beautiful! Maybe it's because I'd been looking at a picture, but I expected the pendant to be bigger. It's no bigger than a quarter. However, this is shinier (a nice surprise!), and I am already in love with it, wearing it all the time! The metal for the beak and the wing is on top of the metal for the rest of the pelican's body. It's beautiful and I'm always glad to support something handmade and benefiting the greater good somehow through donating part of the proceeds. Thank you!
