FAQs

No. All of our products are always ready to ship.
We process your order within 1 business day (same day in many cases). We use USPS service so shipping time will vary anywhere from 2-5 business days.
Unlike soft glass, which is prone to breaking, and not tolerant to sudden temperature changes, borosilicate glass, is a much harder, and durable glass. Borosilicate glass composition also includes 5% boric oxide. This special ingredient was first added to the traditional glass mixture by German glassmaker Otto Schott in the late 19th century. By doing this, he produced what came to be known as borosilicate glass, or “boro”, as it is often called, notable for its high tolerance to heat and extreme resistance to severe temperature changes.
We use solid rods and tubes of both colored and clear borosilicate glass. Glass is spun while being melted in a 1,500+ degree flame being produced by a torch using a propane/oxygen gas mixture.

Finished products and products being worked are stored in a kiln at over 1000 degrees. The kiln allows the finished products temperature to come to room temperature at a slow pace to ensure its durability.
Some of our customers have asked if we could sign their marble, and Yes! we can sign the marbles! We will use a titanium pen to lightly 'scratch' "SF18" (Sean Fitzgerald/Owner) on the back of the marble. If you would like your marble signed, just shoot us a message while placing your order asking us to do so. Make sure your request comes in with your order, we typically ship extremely fast!
