There's a wide range of uses for these tags. As a fashion accessory, medical ID, re-enactment uniform or to celebrate an event, these tags are a high quality personalised item that are made to last.
Each set includes:
2 X 50mm (2") x 28mm (1 & 1/8") stainless steel US military dog tags each with embossed personalised text.
1 X 69cm (27") x 2.4mm stainless steel neck chain with connector.
1 X 11.5cm (4.5") x 2.4mm stainless steel 'toe' chain with connector.
The following options are also available:
Silencers - These damp the sound of the tags when they touch each other and is a great way to change the look of your tags. The silencers can easily be removed or refitted.
The military use black silencers but we offer a wide range of choice including solid colour and camo patterned silencers. Use the 'silencer options' drop down box to make your choice.
Gift case - Perfect for those who plan to give these as a gift, our metal presentation case features a custom foam insert to protect the tags and making them easier to wrap while presenting them really nicely. Use the 'Gift box options' drop down box to add it to your order.
If you choose the gift box we will assemble the tag set fully. With regular packaging we supply the tags and chains packed seperately to prevent damage in transit. The packaging includes instructions showing how to assemble the chains.
It's important to get your text layout right to avoid any delay. If the message isn't possible we will message you right back.
The easiest way to order these tags is to simply copy the next 12 lines of this description, add your own details after each line and paste into the box where it says: 'add your personalisation'
The amount of text available depends on whether you choose to have silencers or not. Without silencers there is a bit more space to work with.

It's possible to go for the longer lines of the 'without silencers' layout and still fit the silencers but some of the text may be covered up by them.
When counting the number of characters, please bear in mind that spaces also count as characters.
As standard we align the text to the left but please message us if you have any special requests, for example if you would like the text centered or for example if you only have 2 or 4 lines of text but want the text centered vertically with the same amount of blank space above and below the text.
Only capital letters (without accents) are used on military dog tags. so if you use lower case we will convert it to all caps for you.
In addition to A-Z and 0-9 we also support the following punctuation marks and symbols.
, . : ; / ? ! ' " ° * & @ # ( ) - = + ★ ♥
We support the degree, minutes and seconds characters so it's possible to put GPS co-ordinates on the tags.
