Carved Pencil Lead "How Pencils are Made" Miniature art, Pencil Carving, Pencil Lead Carving, Carved Pencil by Artist Cindy Chinn

This is a one of a kind pencil carving. I started with 2 regular carpenter's pencils and carved the graphite. The little worker men are carved from plastic.

This scene offers a whimsical look at "How Pencils Are Made" with the one worker mining the graphite and piling it on to the second pencil.

This pencil will come in the frame shown in the photo as it is permanently mounted. I will also include a magnifying glass. The frame can easily be wall mounted.

This unique piece shows what an artist can be capable of when she has a steady hand, an X-acto knife and a magnifying glass!
