A cool blue Asian dragon, symbol of achievement and good fortune, floats through the clouds.
Imagine this design as part of the robes worn by an emissary from the Chinese court to a European court in the Medieval period or the Renaissance. Fabulous!

If you request, your piece will arrive laminated, but that makes the envelope stiff.
A stiff envelope requires Priority Rate, which includes USPS Tracking, formerly called Delivery Confirmation.
If you want lamination, you must purchase this listing for Priority Rate:
The laminated surface is 9" x 12" or 22 cm by 30 cm.

This will take me a few days to cut, spray, re-spray, and allow to dry. The exact piece shown may no longer be available. But I would be happy to make a similar piece in the same color scheme... or vary the details as you wish!

I offer a smaller version of this as a bookmark:

Disclaimers: This piece is sold without a frame. The exact item shown may have been sold already. Two different copies of the same design may vary slightly in colors or details. But the design shown is substantially what the recipient will receive.

Measurements: This piece is about 4” x 6” or 10.5 cm by 15.5 cm, intended for a frame measuring about 6” x 8” or 15.5 cm by 20.5 cm.

Statement of originality: These papercuttings are my original design, cut from paper, painted or spray-painted. Each is handmade, and I don’t like to cut or paint them exactly alike, so each varies slightly. If I’m out of this design, I can cut another, slightly different. I cut my initials into the design, not always in the same place. I may write the name of my shop on the back.
The back is sprayed gold, but it’s not perfect. Some of the color on the front probably ran over the edges the first time I sprayed the front.

Customizing: I can paint any papercutting in nearly any color, usually with spray paint and maybe a touch of acrylic here and there. My wall art usually “faces” one direction. If it is not a word (like “Peace”), I can also cut the design to face the other direction. Just ask.
I am a member of the Guild of American Papercutters.
