Are they silent? They make a light ticking UNLESS you request a silent mechanism.
If you want one, there is a 1.50 upcharge, which is my cost difference between the two mechanisms. We used to buy silent exclusively, but the prices went up so much, that we had to seek a new supplier in order to keep the prices low for clearance.
Do they come with hanger already on clock? Yep
Do you do custom orders? Sorry, no. We are going to be discontinuing the clock line for personal reasons by this Christmas, 2011. As styles sell out, we are no longer reproducing them.
You had one last month and it's gone. Can I get another? Nope, sorry, clearance clock styles are dead to me.
I already have a mechanism from my last clock, can I buy just the face? Absolutely. Just faces are 7.99, your choice of clock.

I don't make the mechanisms. I buy them. If you get a bum mechanism, or lose your screw cap, let me know....with an email. I will take care of you. Leaving less than positive feedback is to warn the community that you tried to get the artist to fix your problem, and they let you down.

Background/Bio: When I was a young bear, I graduated from GMHS (Granby Memorial High School in Granby, Connecticut) Class of 1975. I took business courses, and every art course offered there, till I had taken them all. I then had "independent study", which meant I just had to turn in X amount of paintings per semester. At the time, I was very in to watercolors, but bears like to lick watercolor paint, so I have since been won over by acrylics. My art teacher was Charlotte Moody, whom I loved. She was/is very talented, and taught me to paint big among other things, of course. Besides being limited as to how big you can paint, the clocks come with a challenge....dealing with the hole in the middle. It makes portraits next to impossible unless you actually want clock hands on the person's forehead or nose, or you can live with the face off to one side or at the top. However, for most artwork, I have figured out how to make the records become the perfect canvas, especially for someone with a short attention span. I love to look at the collection on the walls of my cave, where I keep a nice selection of my clock designs.

When you receive your American made (not imported from China) Bearly Art eco-friendly wall clock, it will be set at 12:00. Insert an AA battery, not included, and use the dial on the back to dial the long hand around clockwise till the correct time is reached. If you have any problem with the mechanism, please let me know. I will take care of you. It is very important to me that you are happy with your purchase.
