Description

**100% organic GOTS certified cotton coated in all natural beeswax and all natural pine gum rosin (sap).**

**Made with local Santa Cruz beeswax when available! **

This listing is for ONE LARGE BEESWAX WRAP.

Measures 12 X 12 inches.

This beeswax wrap is great for:
**Covering bowls**
**Wrapping sandwiches**
**Wrapping burritos**
**Wrapping fresh herbs**
**Covering a large melon**
**Wrapping a large block of cheese**
**Anything else you might use plastic wrap for**

The warmth of your hands helps it to stick to whatever you are wrapping.

If you want a smaller wrap, see my listing for the 8 X 8 wrap.

If you want a larger wrap, see my listing for 13 X 19 wrap.

Last picture shows 3 sizes for comparison.

**THIS WRAP SHOULD LAST YOU AT LEAST 1 YEAR WITH FREQUENT WEEKLY OR DAILY USE**

**I included a photo of a different wrap to show the general sticky-ness of the wraps - they are all made with the same recipe for sticky-ness as the pictured wrap**.

**HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BEESWAX WRAP**
In order for your wrap to last a long time, please use these instructions:

-Handwash your wrap by rinsing it in cool water
-Let it air dry
-If you need to gently scrub your wrap, use a mild, alcohol-free dish soap or castille soap.

**As your wrap ages**
-It will start to show signs of loving use over time the form of wrinkles or lines.
-These are fine and do not affect it's function.
-If these lines bother you, you can place your wrap in your oven on a tinfoil-lined cookie sheet at your oven's lowest temperature for 5 minutes. This will re-melt and distribute the wax across the fabric so it looks like new again.

**When your wrap has lost it's coating after a year or more of use, you can:
-cut it into strips and use the strips to start a fire
-cut it into strips and add it to your compost
-rewax it (if you want help to rewax it after a while, please convo me!).

One wrap per order with instructions. Made with compostable/biodegradable materials. Handmade with zero waste in Santa Cruz, CA. Eliminate plastic wrap from your kitchen.
