Hand embroidered heart can be used as a Christmas ornament or a hanging pillow for your door. Each heart was drawn by hand and hand embroidered on tea-dyed muslin. This ornament features a lovely unadorned winter tree with snow embroidered using a lovely hand dyed brown and white French knots and running stitches for snow. This heart bring us back to olden days when our ancestors made hand made ornaments for the tree. This ornament has a red velvet fabric as a backing. An red satin ribbon is used for hanging. It is long enough to hang on a doorknob or a country cupboard for year long display. The heart is filled with polyester fiberfill and made in a smoke free home. I live in upstate NY and these handmade ornaments are inspired by the Adirondack mountains and all of the beautiful trees in my area. This ornament reminds me very much of my grandmother who taught me how to embroider who always gave beautiful hand embroidered gifts. I hope you love this tree as much as I do.
