Description

Widely considered to be Willa Cather's masterpiece, this edition of "My Antonia" was originally published in 1918. Cather agreed to cut out the introduction of the novel, however, which is why Houghton Mifflin re-released the novel as a new revised edition. This is the first edition published with the edit, and it was published in 1926.

Early edition of "My Antonia" seem to be rare, especially editions that include the dust jacket. Although this dust jacket is worn, it is still in good condition and has the $2.50 price stated in the corner. (I hate when the price is clipped, as it is a trick for unsuspecting buyers, so I am always excited to have a dust jacket intact!)

Please make sure to look at the images to see the condition that the book is in!

"My Antonia" is the final book in Willa Cather's prairie trilogy, and it tells the stories of Jim Burden (an orphaned boy from Virginia) and Antonia Shimerda (the daughter of immigrants).

All books ship via media mail, unless you request otherwise.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!
