Orders typically ship out in 1 day, or sometimes 2 business days. We sometimes (rarely) need an extra day during the holidays or if it's a large order. If there's a delay on our end, we'll let you know. For holiday shipping, see Holiday Shipping updates in our Announcement section.
Most items are shipped USPS as a First Class Package with a tracking number. The one exception is flat greeting cards, which are sent economically via regular First Class mail, and no tracking number is available at this rate. However, if the cards are included within a box of other items, that box will be shipped as a First Class package with a tracking number. If you want insurance in your package, please send us a note.

USPS is the most economical and reliable shipping option, but occasional hiccups happen. Once USPS picks up a package from us and issues a tracking number, the USPS is responsible for delivery. If an item does not arrive, is missing or late in arrival, possibly stolen, or damaged in shipment, the buyer must contact USPS directly with the tracking number and ask for a Case Number to be assigned. (NOTE: Once a case number is assigned, we have found that in most cases, the USPS locates the missing article.) We will try to help in whatever way we can, but the USPS must confirm the status of an article with a Case Number before we can take further action. Contact the USPS at USPS.com (you can also submit a Search Request after 7 days).
Please include a correct, USPS verified address. We cannot refund shipping fees after a label is printed. When we print a label, we pay a nonrefundable shipping fee. If you change the address after a label is printed, you will be charged for the new shipping label.

If you move and USPS returns the item as "unable to deliver or forward," we are happy to resend it to a corrected address, but the buyer is responsible for new shipping fees.

VERIFIED ADDRESS: If USPS can't verify your address, we'll email you. If we don't hear back within 3 days, we'll cancel the order and issue a full refund. If you prefer to ship to an unverified address and the shipment is returned, we can refund the product (if in good condition), but not the shipping fee.
If you request that we ship your order to an address outside the United States via First Class Mail, the shipment will be tracked but NOT insured unless you request it. You will be asked to pay an additional charge for insurance. If you request and pay for Priority Mail, your shipment will receive US $50 of insurance as part of the shipping charge. Additional insurance must be requested.

If the USPS confirms that your tracked and insured shipment shows as delivered to the destination address but you or your recipient have not received it, you must notify us within 3 days of the delivery date shown on the tracking page for the package. We are not responsible for replacing shipments that the USPS declares delivered to the correct address.
All year, but especially during the holidays, we work fast to get all orders out. That means we print shipping labels with postage as soon as we get the order (typically within 30 minutes of receiving the order). If your request for cancellation is received before we print the label, the order may be cancelled in full.

If we have already printed the shipping label with postage, we can refund the purchase price but not the shipping fees.

Also, items that are returned in good condition will be refunded for the purchase price, but the buyer is responsible for the original shipping fee and any return shipping fees. (Shipping fees are fixed costs are not refundable to us.)
Package theft happens. We are not responsible for items stolen from apartment mailbox areas or homes. To prevent theft, have your item delivered to your workplace or a Post Office box. Our smaller boxes will fit in standard home mailboxes, but may be too large for apartment letter boxes. If USPS confirms your item was delivered, we cannot replace the item or issue a refund. Please make sure the place of delivery is secure, especially during the holidays.
