Marigold the Moose got her name because marigolds are her favourite flowers. To eat, that is. She likes to keep one behind her ear as an emergency snack!

This listing is for a PDF pattern with many pictures and easy to follow, row-for-row instructions on how to make a moose called Marigold and her flower.

Marigold is an intermediate level pattern. Marigold is knitted both flat and in the round, with the stitches knit, purl, lifted increases, knit/purl 2 together and slip stitch over. I-cord knitting is used for the flower (the pattern has brief instructions on how to do that).

Following the gauge in the pattern, Marigold ends up about 20 cm (8 in) tall while sitting down.

- double-pointed knitting needles (4 mm – US 5-6 – UK 8 recommended)
- yarn suitable for your needles (brown, beige and little bit of black for Marigold's features, plus green, yellow and rusty orange for the flower)
- stuffing
- embroidery needle
