Description

The story of the BEESWAX WRAPS:)

I am a mother of 3 kids and we are 5 of us in our family. During past few years we are trying to live more and more zero waste. Sometimes the zero waste travel looks so difficult and impossible. Last year I understood that we were using so much of disposable food wrap. And we started to look for replacement. And we found the beeswax wrap. I am sewer and I allways have some spare fabrics in my stash. So I cut some little pieces, bought the wax from bio bees farmer and did some beeswax wraps for our family. I was very sceptic about the beeswax wrap and .... it surprised me !!!! So now I want to share the good things with all of you !!!

Beeswax wraps are made out of cotton fabric, beeswax, jojoba oil.

100% cotton fabric
100% beeswax
organic jojoba oil
biodegradable
naturally anti-bacterial
no chemicals
no plastic
use up to 1 year

The wraps are made out white fabric patterned with blue fishes.
The beeswax wraps are in 3 sizes:

18x18 centimetres - perfect for small bowl or for a glass jar
25x25 centimetres - perfect for middle size bowl or for a sandwich - apple - or some other fruit
35x 35 centimetres - perfect for a big bowl, pan.

Directions for using: use heat from hands to shape the wrap, wrap it around container or food:

Care*** Hand wash with soft sponge and cool water. Air dry. Do not apply heat. Do not machine wash or use hot water. Can be refrigerated/frozen, but no microwave or oven use. Not recommended for raw meat. Allow frozen wraps to thaw a few minutes before unwrapping.

It's a handmade, so slight variations in shape and size may occur.

As an all natural product, your wrap will eventually crack and crumble. You can easily reset your wrap for more uses : Flatten wrap on parchment paper and place in direct sunlight for a while until wax disperses throughout wrap. OR flatten wrap on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in oven on low heat for a few minutes. Wax should disperse evenly again. Once it can wrap no more, simply throw it away. It's biodegradable so you don't have to worry about it sticking around forever, damaging the planet :)
