Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for a Pegasus!!! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.

This powerful flying horse is ready to take flight! The effect is amigurumi-like, though there are some distinct techniques used that are not used in single crochet-only amigurumi. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing. This is a beautiful soft-sculpture pattern with hundreds of photos in a detailed written instruction pattern!

**This Pattern consists of FIVE separate PDF Files, as follows:**

This pattern is a total of 208 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, and diagrams. There is a fifth PDF (41 total pages) with a full set of printer-friendly, text-only instructions from all four sets of instructions, but I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

SIZE

A Pegasus from this pattern is 13 inches tall from head to hoof, 12 inches long from nose to rump, 4.5 inches wide from shoulder to shoulder, and at least 14 inches from wing base to wing tip without stretching them out fully.

SUPPLY LIST

Total Yarn approximately between 1000 and 1200 yards for all parts
One pair of safety eyes, for worsted weight recommended 20 mm size
15 pieces of 18 inch 18 Gauge Paper Stem Wire (Found in the Faux Floral arrangement section of any craft store) - Or any strong 18 gauge wire of the above length.
Polyfil Stuffing
Duct Tape
G (4.25/4.5mm) hook & E (3.5mm) Hook
Optional: Two Standard Sized Glass gems for the bottom of each Hoof.

In the 1st and 5th PDFs, in the Rear Leg pattern instructions, Row 29.4 should say "Bend the 2nd wire into a circle to match the circle edge of the 1st wire, just inside the edge of the 1st wire circle.".
In the 2nd and 5th PDFs, in the Pegasus Crocheted Tail pattern, Row 31 should say (Repeat Row 30 & 31 till you run out of room to SC onto Row 11).
In the same section in the 5th (text only) PDF, all notes should reference Row 11, not Row 12.
In the 3rd and 5th PDFs:
In the Part 1 section, Row 20-43's stitch count should be 6 (Not 8). In the Part 2, Left Wing section, the pro-tip in Row 21 has been moved to Row 20.
In the Part 3 Right Wing section, Row 3 had a typo (facign should be facing). Row 58 had a typo (HCD should be HDC). Row 71's note should reference Row 70, not Row 7.
In all PDFs, the copyright date has been updated to be 2018, not 2019, as 2018 is when the pattern was published and copyright was filed.
