These frames are built from boards that are generally 80-100 years old that are removed by hand from local structures in disrepair. From there, each board is de-nailed, cleaned, prepped, milled to square it and remove common bows and bends, and rabbeted to fit the order if it is needed for. At this point, the frame is constructed, color finished and cured if required, the frame hardware applied and glass or acrylic cut, along with the backing, wrapped, boxed, and labeled. The frame is then shipped to our customers who receive a frame transformed from a dirt covered board lying in a field into a piece of history that can be proudly displayed on their wall for years to come.
