This sweet little Ginny doll was made by Vogue Doll Company in 1954. This was the only year they made this particular doll with the painted lashes. She is a straight leg walker which works perfectly and her arms are strung tightly. Holds a pose beautifully!

This Ginny has excellent face paint! Her brows and lashes are a nice soft brown; not the green or yellow sometimes seen on this doll. She's got nice rosy cheeks with no rubs, bright blue eyes that like to stay open but can be closed with a gentle touch. She's got an evenly toned body with one teeny red mark under her left arm pit. (see photo, which actually makes it look worse than it is). Her wig is vintage Dynel and not original to this doll.

Ginny is dressed in a tagged "My Tiny Miss" 1954, # 43 dress. Medford, Mass. tag. The dress is a bright pink pinafore with a pink print dress, matching bloomers and original hat, which is slightly faded on one side. Elastic is good and tight. This dress is in very good unlaundered condition with no tears, rips, stains or odors. She has new white socks and Ginny marked heeled white shoes.

A wonderful vintage doll to add to your collection!
